Juno

Juno

Juno

Approximate age:

5 years
Date arrived at Sanctuary:

Feb 2021
Where from:

Dumped outside Sanctuary
Story:

Juno and 3 sisters were dumped outside the sanctuary when they were just about a month old. All of the puppies were adopted quickly but unfortunately through no fault of her own, Juno's adoption did not work out and she was returned to the sanctuary. Juno is the sweetest girl who absolutely loves her hoomans especially if you take her out for a walk. She has a faithful companion in one of our senior dogs called Andrew - it's so lovely to see these two dogs together and follow their story.

Gwen

Gwen

Approximate age:

2 years
Date arrived at Sanctuary:

May 2024
Where from:

Dumped as puppies
Story:

Gwen and her two siblings Gia and Gill were dumped outside the sanctuary just when we had an outbreak of distemper. Of course, we couldn't just leave them in the road on the doorstep so we brought them in and isolated them until the outbreak was cleared. These three are such a sweet tight-knit group, they have a resemblance to beagles and are very gentle and loving young dogs.

We really hope to find them a home one day as they would be perfect family dogs. In the meantime, they have settled into sanctuary life but they have a tendency to get bullied sometimes so they like to find quiet place of their own to hang out. It's so sweet to see the three of them together.

Dario

Dario

Dario

Approximate age:

2 years
Date arrived at Sanctuary:

May 2024
Where from:

Dumped as puppies
Story:

Dario and his 5 other siblings (Dante, Dawson, Delia, Diane, Dove) were dumped by an abandoned house on the road to the sanctuary and found by staff who were taking dogs for their daily exercise. This group of dogs was so unusual because they are all very different from each other so we don't think they came from the same litter.

Unfortunately, at the time they were able to clear quarantine and would have been available for adoption, the sanctuary had an outbreak of distemper. During that time, this little group has matured into beautiful, young dogs each with a super personality. Dario loves to hang out with the younger dogs in the quarantine area and loves to have a head scritch.
