On 9 May 2022, Scout, Sugar and Summer were found abandoned at a very young age.  They barely had their eyes open and were very small.  They all tested positive for Parvovirus, a particularly nasty virus which is very dangerous to young dogs and puppies.

There is no cure, only treatment of the symptoms and trying to build and support the puppy's immune system to fight off the virus.  Sadly it was too much for Sugar and Scout, who succumbed within a day of eachother after fighting hard for a couple of weeks.  It is truly heart-breaking to see such little souls robbed of the chance a full life, but we are happy that Summer lives on, and that for the few short days we were able to make them as comfortable as possible, and know that they were loved and cared for.
