Adoption
Frannie adopted!
Frannie Adopted!
Adoptions are few and far between at the moment, so it was wonderful to see little Frannie go to her new home with Maria and her family.
Frannie was one of 3 puppies dumped outside the shelter. Sadly her siblings Feebie and Freya died from Parvovirus and Frannie was left all alone. At least now she will experience the love that she deserves.
We have so many beautiful puppies still waiting to be chosen.
Please message the inbox if you would like to give one the gift of their own family.
Miki adopted!
Miki Adopted!
We have the best news!!! Miki was adopted by a wonderful family and is already adjusting well.
The first night, she wouldn't come out of the bedroom. But the very next day, she was up on the sofa!
The person who reported Mouse to us messaged again as he saw another dog in the same area who he believed to be a sibling of Mouse. They look very similar. We went immediately to pick it up and discovered she is a female so we called her Miki. It's the least we could do after not being able to save Mouse. Miki tested negative for distemper, parvo and rabies but she had a severely swollen hind leg, was very malnourished and emaciated, and had mange. She's made an amazing recovery! We love seeing the happy ending photos side by side with the initial rescue pictures. This is what drives us to keep doing what we do!
Wally adopted!
Wally Adopted!
Little Wally got adopted on 9 November 2024! We have so many puppies now at the Sanctuary so it's great when one gets adopted! This helps us to create space to rescue more and of course gives a dog the chance to live its best life.
If you can make room for just one more soul in your home, please message us.

Gibson – Adopt a Stray
Gibson
In November 2024, under our Adopt a Stray programme, we rescued Gibson. He was extremely thin and riddled with Demodex mange, which had caused the breakdown of his skin tissues. He was covered in sores and lesions. He also had a dangerously low red blood cell count. In just the short time we have had him, his sores disappeared and he is started to relax and enjoy his life. He's a really happy little soul!
