Story:
In March 2026 we had a number of reports oof a poor dog wandering around with a huge hole in his face and other sores all over his underbelly.
We brought him in and it quickly became apparent that the wounds were due to a canine cancer known as TVT which he would not have survived without treatment. We have successfully saved many rescue dogs with TVT and saved a lot of dogs in the community through our low cost clinic, so we had high hopes we would be able to do the same for Zeus.
Zeus' chemotherapy treatment is now complete and he is a lively boy who just loves going on walks. Staff describe Zeus as being smart, playful and protective. He still has the whole in his nose which is slowly getting smaller - we don't know if it will ever close but fortunately it doesn't affect his energy.
