Story:

This young boy Pedro was tied up in the end of car park with no water, food or shelter from the sun for at least two days before he was reported.

We have no idea what happened to Pedro, unfortunately not many car parks here have CCTV, but he was frightened and hungry when DAS went to rescue him. 

Although rather thin, Pedro was generally in fairly good health which suggests that he had an owner who simply abandoned him.  He was very wary and scared at first but is now starting to settle into sanctuary life.  We hope one day we will find him the loving home he deserves after all he has been through.

Pedro Adopted!

Pedro Adopted!

Some happy news after so much sadness.  Pedro, a young dog illegally dumped outside the Sanctuary this week, was adopted on the spot by Melanie Macias and family.  He was in and out so quick, we barely got time to photograph him!  We're so glad he's found a permanent loving home, but there are many more waiting for their moment of happiness - not every dog is as lucky as Pedro.  Visit our website at dumagueteanimalsanctuary.com/our-rescues/our-dogs to read their stories.
