Lagum

This is the saddest post. We had to put Lagum to sleep this afternoon (29 February 2024) and it was extremely distressing.
We did every test possible to find out what was wrong but could not find the cause of her intense pain. There were no broken bones or organ issues but she screamed non stop pretty much for the last three days. She had to basically be put in a comatose state for her to get any respite. All the vets we consulted say it must have been a brain issue as she kept pushing her head against the mats she was lying on. One possibility is advanced stage tetanus as her limbs were quite stiff.
It's so hard to witness suffering like this and not be able to alleviate it.
The kindest thing to do was to put her out of her suffering. Thank you to everyone who donated for this little girl.
Run free Lagum. So so sorry you had to suffer as you did.

Lagum – Adopt a Stray

Lagum

Midnight

On 25 February 2024, under our "Adopt a Stray" programme, we rescued a puppy in distress.  She couldn't stand up, and was crying in pain.  Her reporters agreed to adopt her when she was well, and called her Lagum.

We will investigate her mobility issues, and get her well fed and ready to begin her new life with her reporter.

Midnight
