Juno

Approximate age:

5 years
Date arrived at Sanctuary:

Feb 2021
Where from:

Dumped outside Sanctuary
Story:

Juno and 3 sisters were dumped outside the sanctuary when they were just about a month old. All of the puppies were adopted quickly but unfortunately through no fault of her own, Juno's adoption did not work out and she was returned to the sanctuary. Juno is the sweetest girl who absolutely loves her hoomans especially if you take her out for a walk. She has a faithful companion in one of our senior dogs called Andrew - it's so lovely to see these two dogs together and follow their story.

Puppies in the Great Outdoors

Puppies in the Great Outdoors

When rescued puppies get a bit bigger, it's the best time to get them used to a collar or harness and leash or lead, and leave the comfort of the Sanctuary and explore THE GREAT OUTDOORS for the first time!

Dean out for a walk

Seeing these young dogs grow in confidence with each exploration is very rewarding, and we hope that their familiarity with the concept of "going for a walk" prepares them for life with an active family. Here are Sara, Dean, Juno and Gretal checking out life outside the Sanctuary.  If you want to know more about Adopting one of these lovelies, visit our Adoptions page.

Juno Adopted!

The fourth adoption today. Luckily Elbert and his family chose Juno, one of the puppies who just graduated from the puppy run.
Juno came to the shelter with her three siblings, Geri, Gabby and Juliet, all of whom have been adopted.
