Thrown in a sack outside the shelter
Story:
Snow, her sister Ebony and her brother Alfie were tied up in a sack and thrown outside the Sanctuary. They were tiny when we rescued them – only around 4 weeks old.
Her brother was very sick and died a few hours after we brought them into the Sanctuary, and
Ebony got adopted when they were both around 10 weeks.
Poor Snow did not get adopted, possibly because even after 6 years at the sanctuary, she is still quite wary of strangers and doesn’t approach even our regular volunteers, but she is good with other dogs and never gets into fights or squabbles.
Snow now resides at the new sanctuary where she has much more space and comfort and we hope her new environment will give her more confidence with her hoomans,
