In January 2026, DAS began using PawPlacer as the rescue management system, which provides a direct feed to this website of all rescue animals available for adoption.
This is the OLD "Rest In Peace" page, with testaments to the rescues who are no longer with us.

Sickness, injury and old age eventually take their toll. We remember here the dogs we rescued, and provided love, care and respect for however short a time they had with us.
They all made their mark, however briefly, and we can only hope they run carefree and happy now. Please help us to help even more poor souls.
