NORRIE

Norrie

In August 2023, a pregnant dog we called Nesta was dumped outside the Sanctuary with three tiny new-born puppies.  Amazingly, all three have made it to adulthood, and Nia and Nell have been adopted.  We hope gorgeous fun-loving Norrie isn't far behind, he's such a character!

Norrie's Story

On 29 June 2023, we found a heavily pregnant dog abandoned close to the Sanctuary.  We are working so hard to help reduce the stray population through free or low cost sterilisation programmes, but are prepared for this sad scene to play out many times more before our work will begin to show some benefit.

Nia was adopted in October, and Nell found her new home in December 2023.   We hope poor Norrie isn't far behind, as he is a lovely dog who loves to play and is very gentle.

He is now a very sweet young dog, with a lovely temperament.  We believe that among the many benefits of adopting from the Sanctuary is that the puppies here have known to expect nothing from humans than love, care and attention.

As a result, they are already friendly, playful and happy to go with you to their new homes. All you need to do is carry on the good work started by us at the Sanctuary!
