Indy

Indy

Indy was an abandoned puppy rescued in May 2020 with two siblings, Ruby and Sonia.  She is was around 1 year old when rescued, and is still rather shy, but has got a little more adventurous since rescue.  She is an escape artist, prompting us to raise the fences all around the Sanctuary!

Indy's Story

Indy was an abandoned puppy found with her two siblings at the back of Robinson’s mall. They were playing nearby to a busy road and were in danger of being killed.  She is super friendly and just wants to be cuddled but sometimes gets picked on by some of the other dogs.

She now stays in the enclosed area around the caretaker's house with the other dogs that like the round plastic dog beds we bought. She loves her walks outside the Sanctuary and is quite an active dog.

Sonia

She was quite an escape artist in her early days with us, and could scale the fence and get out of the Sanctuary – she never ran far away but we had to increase the height of the fence just to keep her in.

This is a short video about Indy and her sisters, Rubie and Sonia, when they were just rescued.
