DAISY

Daisy

Daisy was a victim of a hit and run which left her immobile on the side of the road in January 2020.

Her dislocated hip could not be operated on locally, but over time, she recovered by herself, and is now fully fit, full of fun and would make an excellent companion for an energetic family!

Daisy's Story

Daisy was a hit and run reported on 28th January 2020. She was left lying on the side of the road unable to move.
Luckily one of our volunteers brought her to the vet clinic we were using at the time.

Daisy's X-rays

X-rays showed that she had a dislocated hip. She just lay not moving for about 2 weeks at the vet. There is no possibility of surgery here for this type of injury so we just hoped that given her young age she would recover and her injury would heal.

Luckily, Daisy started to walk on her own and so we brought her to the Sanctuary. She was not in any pain and within a couple of months she was as active as all the other dogs.

We estimate that she was probably born around January 2019.  She is a super friendly dog and loves people! She is also very playful with other dogs though sometimes she can be a bit rough in her play.  She has a habit of nipping you gently to get your attention.

She is now fully mobile and has no problems from her old injury.
