Our hearts are overjoyed today, John and Anna, the couple fostering Lenny, have decided to adopt him!
It's not easy finding adopters for our dogs, especially when the dog has special needs. Lenny is a distemper survivor and like a lot of dogs who survive he was left with a twitch - exactly like Shaun. It can be heart-breaking to watch but we know that the dog is okay and goes on to live a happy and healthy life - not all adopters can see beyond the twitch though.
So when "Super Adopters" like John and Anna come along we are more than grateful. Today we all rejoice for little Lenny!
