Caylee

Lucky for her they managed to drag her out but because their boarding house did not allow animals, they reached out to DAS. We couldn't ignore their pleas and when we rescued her, we found her in a bad state of health and freezing cold, we don't know how long she had been in the water.

After being warmed up and having some food, Caylee showed what a gentle little soul she was, quite timid but willing to let staff tend to her as if she knew they were trying to help. Nowadays Caylee is still quite shy but she lives in the main sanctuary with a lot of other young dogs - maybe because she came in on her own, she has an independent nature as if she is used to having to fend for herself. She is very sweet and would make a lovely addition to someone's family.
