Marlie Adopted!

Marley Adopted!

Another "Foster Fail"!  Eureska and family agreed to take Marley into foster care until the Sanctuary is clear of the Distemper outbreak, but couldn't bear the thought of her leaving!  Marley was found on 30 June 2021 wandering alone - clearly dumped and left to be run over on a busy road.  She is now named Amber.

Until the Distemper outbreak is over, maybe in the next couple of weeks, people agreeing to foster animals in distress that we can't take into the Sanctuary are a life-saver. If you can help, please get in touch with us.

Postcard from Shaun #5

Postcard #5 from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Pals

Lots of rain last night, and cloudy today, but that isn't stopping me getting my outdoor exercise. The resort staff were sweeping their small part of the beach clean of leaves and fallen Talisay nuts, so I chose to supervise from a safe distance. I may have to complain about the food soon though. After my last visit to the doctor's, I get "special food" which is supposed to be kind on my tummy, full of energy and other good things, but beef chunks and gravy IT IS NOT. I hope it does the job, otherwise pretty soon I may forget how to poop.

Hope you are all keeping well,

Lots of love, Shaun

Max recovered

Max Recovers

All Max's boils are gone! We are monitoring every day but as of 3 weeks ago no new boils have appeared. Plus his cough seems to have gone. No coughing at all in the last couple of weeks.
This is still all very tentative but it seems like he is in a good place for now.

Look into my eyes and tell me you don’t want to adopt me?

Look into my eyes and Tell me you don't want to adopt me?

We've kept quiet about Poppy, as to be honest, it will break our hearts to see her find a new home, but there is almost no dog more deserving of a loving family than Poppy.

Poppy

Poppy

She has the sweetest nature, enjoys walks, loves tummy scratches, and would make a wonderful addition to a caring family, especially one where she will be the only dog.  Make her feel safe and loved, and she will repay you twice over.  Please get in touch if you can't say no to those eyes.

Find out more on her Profile Page.

An Everyday Scene

An Everyday Scene...

...from the life of the Sanctuary from a dog's eye-view. Sheila (white, left) has just been disturbed from her comfortable dirt-hole by Indy (black, right). Bystander Jenna (black with white chest) looks on worriedly, while Snoopy (scruffy, background) knows well enough to stay out of it when the ladies begin to argue.....Sheila eventually got her hole back.
