Abandoned near the shelter
Story:
Little Boo and her sister Roo were abandoned near to the shelter and found by staff out walking the dogs. Little Boo had a collar on so they had obviously had owners previously. The worst thing was that her little sister had been blinded either by disease or maltreatment, we don't know.
So, the two of them were just huddled together - goodness knows what would have happened if staff hadn't passed by as quickly as they did.
Roo was adopted and now lives in England whilst Boo has stayed at the sanctuary. Sadly she has developed a deformity in her back legs and although she is still mobile and makes the best of it, she has difficulty walking and is under going physio and other treatments to see if her muscles and bones will strengthen and straighten out again. Despite everything she is full of life and just loves getting attention from staff and volunteers.
