Athena

Story:

In July 2026, whilst staff were travelling to our new sanctuary site, they saw a young dog by the side of the road in Zamboanguita apparently unable to move and most likely the victim of a hit and run. 

Of course, they couldn't just keep driving so they stopped and brought her to the sanctuary. X-rays showed that she had a spinal injury but it was thought that with rest and treatment she might be able to walk again.

This lovely girl was named Athena and is currently undergoing lazer treatment and the signs are looking good. We hope she will regain her ability to walk on her own and she ultimately find a loving home to look after her.
