ALIX
Approximate age:
6 years
Date arrived at Sanctuary:
January 2021
Where from:
Reported with tight rope on neck
Story:
Alix was reported to us at the beginning of February 2021 because she had a rope tied tightly around her neck and the rope was cutting deep into her neck. It's a common occurrence here and can lead to horrendous infections and can ultimately be fatal.
Fortunately DAS was able to rescue her and heal her wound although she still has a deeply embedded scar. Alix lives at the New Sanctuary where she is very happy to have extra space as she has become quite a self sufficient girl and likes to keep her own company but LOVES going on walks.
