Story:
In November 2024, a dog with an owner was reported to us with a chain collar deeply embedded in his neck. The procedure to gently release the links from Teodi's flesh was long and difficult, but ultimately successful.
Although Teodi was originally to be returned to the owner, we decided that he deserved a different future, one that does not feature this kind of neglect. Our adopters commit to never chaining or caging their rescues, so we could not in all consciousness allow Teodi to return to the same situation.
He is now an active, happy and handsome dog, who generally mainly lives outside the sanctuary as his preferred location. Teodi's original sponsor was unable to continue so he's now looking for someone new to support him.
