Story:

In September 2025, we received a report about two dogs, Tyson and another dog called Arwen that were kept on short chains in a dark garage area. They were never walked, they never saw the sun and they weren't receiving enough food. We visited the owners twice, encouraging them to start looking after the dogs.

They refused, so we went with the police, and a letter stating that we will prosecute them if they didn't surrender.

Tyson is a Pitbull and is very friendly and lively despite the despicable treatment he has received over the years. We would love to find him a good adopter but it can be quite difficult as dogs like Tyson need experienced owners and careful handling, as well as plenty of exercise. Meanwhile, Tyson and Arwen are both with us here at the Sanctuary and just hoping for someone to sponsor them.
