Postcard #6 from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Friends,

What a strange day I've had! The Resort Staff have been concerned about me not pooping since I got here, and so gave me "a helping hand". Why is everyone so obsessed with MY BUTT?! Anyway, I did poop, and I've never seen a reaction like it from the Staff. Auntie Christine paid me a visit, and she was beside herself! I'm looking forward to seeing what they do when I pee my bed hahahaha! All the other beach dogs came to see Auntie Christine, so did my guard-dog duty and barked them away - you can't be too careful with these locals!

Postcard #5 from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Pals

Lots of rain last night, and cloudy today, but that isn't stopping me getting my outdoor exercise. The resort staff were sweeping their small part of the beach clean of leaves and fallen Talisay nuts, so I chose to supervise from a safe distance. I may have to complain about the food soon though. After my last visit to the doctor's, I get "special food" which is supposed to be kind on my tummy, full of energy and other good things, but beef chunks and gravy IT IS NOT. I hope it does the job, otherwise pretty soon I may forget how to poop.

Postcard #4 from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Everyone,

I've been on my holidays for a week now, but it's not been all snacks and chew-toys. I've been to the doctor's a number of times, to find medicines to help me get better, as I still have Anemia, some kind of infection, and find it hard to sleep through the night because of the mini-seizures I have for some of the day. I know the doctors are trying to help, but what is it with their fondness for THERMOMETERS?!?!

I ate and I slept well last night, partly because I spend so much energy patrolling the beach to keep the locals from harassing the resort staff. If it wasn't for me, the staff would get no peace from these intrusive visitors, and one even got inside my hotel room and ate part of my lunch! CHEEK!  I've just had my morning meds, so am looking forward to another day of exploring the gardens for things to chew.

Another Postcard from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Buddies,

I have really settled in here by the beach. The sand is soft and so it doesn't matter so much that I can't move around so easily - I just fall on my tummy and get up again. I love exploring the beach, and there are some trees I like to chew, but the resort staff watch me all the time and come and grab me whenever I get near them. Instead, they found me some very agreeable dry sticks to bite, which I have been methodically destroying. Need to keep my teeth sharp because there are CATS around!!!

Another Postcard from Shaun on his Holidays

Dear Gang,

Loving my time here. I've explored every corner of my resort, chewed the trees, met the locals, had some Reiki from my friend Pati, and relaxed. Only downside is the medicines and antibiotics I am taking for mange, anemia, and the twitching left over from that horrid Distemper virus. Sometimes I sleep for hours, but then wake up crying from these terrible spasms. I hope the tablets I am taking will help. I am a bit less itchy, so the mange medicine might be working, and I like the antibiotic juice - it tastes orangey!
