Poppy Adopted!
It had to happen sooner or later, and it's a mystery to us why it's taken so long for Poppy to find her permanent home, with Leo. One of the very first residents at the Sanctuary, she was mange-ridden starving puppy who grew into one of the most trusting and loving dogs here. Leo visited several times with his other dog to make sure the fit was right, and we couldn't be happier (if a little sad to see her go!) that she has a chance of a life outside the Sanctuary. So long Poppy, enjoy your new buddy Kiwi and your new name, Lemon!
