Princess
Princess was rescued a few hours from being euthanised by the Dumaguete City Vet in 2019.
She was painfully thin when she arrived, and was scared of everyone. In time, she found her happy place, just outside the Sanctuary.
She is a very gentle dog, but an expert escape artist, so any adopting family needs a high fence!
Princess's Story
Princess was originally rescued by another Animal Welfare Shelter from the City Vet Death Row. She came to us in June 2019.
This is her a few hours from death.

Princess
Princess was painfully thin when she arrived and was terrified of everyone. She finally settled in to life at the Sanctuary but then one day decided she preferred to live outside.
We raised the fences and tried every way to stop her getting out but she always found a way – she even climbed trees and walked along the branches to get out!
She's taken up permanent residence and only comes inside for treatment, which is very rare! She has her own shelter and is quite happy to observe the comings and goings at the Sanctuary gate.

Princess
She is a lovely sweet dog and loves cuddles but would need an adopted home with high walls!!
