Nat's Story
On 11 February 2023, we rescued Beauty, a victim of a hit and run, and quickly discovered as well as having a broken leg, she was pregnant. Nat, and his four siblings Nadia, Nina, Nyra and Nash were the result.
Sadly Nyra and Nash didn't make it through the Distemper outbreak in April / May 2023, and it was touch and go for the other three for a while. It's common for puppies we rescue to be adopted within the first couple of months, but this couldn't happen for Beauty's offspring as we couldn't allow potentially infected dogs to be adopted during the Distemper Outbreak later that year.
Nat is now a very handsome young dog, with a gentle manner and kind eyes. We believe that among the many benefits of adopting from the Sanctuary is that the puppies here have known to expect nothing from humans than love, care and attention.
As a result, they are already friendly, playful and happy to go with you to their new homes. All you need to do is carry on the good work started by us at the Sanctuary!
