She was a very submissive dog, a situation that has only got worse as the Sanctuary population has increased.
She also contracted Erlichia – a tick-borne disease - which required 2 weeks of Doxycycline to eradicate.
She has a very sweet nature, and loves being stroked if she trusts the person.
In October 2024 we took the decision to move her to the Vet's House, a small property the Sanctuary rents for the visiting vets volunteering in the clinic. She has settle in well, but we haven't given up hope there's a gentle human out there looking for a Jewel in their life.
