Bindi's Story
On 19 March 2023, when the team was at Robinsons Mall Dumaguete on one of our regular Adoption Drives, there were many reports of a dog in a canal with a broken leg in Bindoy, around 100km from the Sanctuary. One of our loyal overseas supporters Rosie has family in the area, and through their help Bindi was rescued.
We thought originally that her front leg was broken but Doc Pierre checked her and said that it's not broken but there is a deep laceration.
However, xrays showed that her pelvis was damaged in the impact.
The great news is that she is now fully recovered! She's a quiet dog, with a sweet temperament; likes her own company but loves attention from staff and volunteers. She will sit with you for hours for head scritches and belly rubs!
