SUKI

Suki

Suki is a true survivor!  She arrived at the Sanctuary from another Animal Welfare shelter with her mother, Fury.

She contracted Parvo and Distemper, and survived both - and is now the life and soul of her mother's pack!

She is forever inquisitive and affectionate.

Suki's Story

Suki arrived at the Sanctuary in June 2019.  She was born in another Animal Welfare shelter to Fury, and was very thin when she arrived.  It took her a few weeks to put on some weight.

Suki

Sadly, she quickly contracted Parvovirus, and survived, something only the most robust of young dogs can shake off.  Following that, she mysteriously caught Distemper, possibly from outside dogs that occasionally used to get into the Sanctuary.

Despite all this, she is the friendliest little thing!  She will come running to greet anyone when they come to the Sanctuary and attempt to jump all over them!

Suki

She is still very close to her mother Fury and hangs out with the so-called Unsociables that occupy the north side of the Sanctuary.  They got their name for their uncompromising stance on defending their side of the Sanctuary, and their intolerance of non-gang members intruding.  All of this washes over Suki though as she is excited to receive attention from  no matter the source!
