Rescued on Christmas Day 2021, we originally thought Noel was female, we couldn't easily see past the many tumours. He is an old dog, who is coping bravely with his very poor condition, which we hope we can now begin to reverse.
Noel's Story
Rescued on Christmas Day, Noel was very thin, covered in ticks, flies and fleas, but most worrying were the numerous large tumours around his legs.

They were not Transmissible Venereal Tumours (TVTs), but he needed surgery to remove the masses, then have biopsies done to see what chemotherapy treatment may be able to help prevent their return.
The surgery was carried out on 12 January, and he appears to be recovering well. He also has a sponsor! The kind couple who were sponsoring recently adopted Star, asked to sponsor another dog when she was adopted.
