BLUE

Blue

Blue was transferred from the Animal Welfare charity CARE to DAS in 2019. She was very thin when we brought her in. She was originally name Brownie by but the caretakers named her blue because her cataracts make her eyes look blue.

She is around 12 years old and super friendly.

Blue's Story

Blue was transferred from CARE to DAS in 2019 where she had been since 2016.

The only problem with Blue health -wise is that she has a persistent runny eye. We use eye-drops every day and that keeps it under control.

Blanca and her puppies

Blue

You can see the tear marks on her left eye from the persistent infections.

She is great with other dogs and people and spends most of her time around the kitchen area and also in the kennel next to Archie.

She will jump up at you and gently touch / stroke your face with her paw.

This is her on a day trip to the sea. She loves the sea.

Blue likes her swims

Blue

She has put on quite a lot of weight, so along with a few other heavy weights, she took part in "The Biggest Loser" Weight Loss Challenge, coming in second with 2% weight loss after 4 weeks!
