In February 2025, we picked up a dog with terrible open head wound. We have no idea how this could have happened, or how he could still have been standing. What was clear is that he could take much more punishment. We called him Luka.

Luka' Story
On 13 February 2024, recued a dog with such a terrible open head wound, it's hard to believe he could have lasted any longer. The wound was infected and infested with maggots.
We cleaned the wound and bound it to help the healing process.
Luka began to make steady progress, and we hope will make a full recovery.
