JEANIE

Jeanie

In April 2023, we were experiencing an epidemic of abandoned puppies outside the Sanctuary.  Jeanie and her sister Joni were left to die, so we took them in with the hope they would survive and find loving homes with people who did care, and did want them.

Jeanie's Story

On 15 April 2023, two young puppies, already clearly cared for, were thrown away in a sack near the Sanctuary.  It is against the law in the Philippines to treat animals in this way, but it happens all the time.  People rarely have funds to afford to sterlise their pets, and the stray population booms.  We called them Joni and Jeanie.

The only solution is mass sterilisation drives, which we have been organising with donations from so many people.  In the meantime, Jeanie is still looking for her permanent home. She is a loving and playful young dog now, and would be an ideal fit with any family.  Her sister Joni has already found her family, and we hope the same for young Jeanie.
