HAROLD

Harold

In September 2024, rescued an adult dog in Dumaguete city, who aside from being dangerously thin, had TVT - Transmissible Venereal Tumor - on his penis.  We called him Harold.

Harold's Story

On 19 September 2024, Harold was rescued with a bad case of TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor), a form of sexually transmitted cancer. Although it looks quite horrible, it’s quite ‘easy’ to treat with chemotherapy. But because the treatment is so expensive, it’s generally not accessible for most people.

Thankfully, we received enough donations for Harold to give him the treatment he needs. He has received a number of chemotherapy sessions, and the cancer has reduced significantly! We believe he still needs three more sessions until he is fully recovered.
Harold has been such a brave boy throughout it all! We will continue to fight for him, and of course we’ll keep you updated on his progress.
