CHARLIE

Charlie

Charlie arrived mysteriously in February 2020.  SHE was a four-week old puppy at the time.

She is super friendly, gets on well with other dogs and people, but is still a little shy around new-comers.

With patience and love, she will be a wonderful new member of some lucky person's family.

Charlie's Story

Charlie was thrown over the Sanctuary fence one night in February 2020. The caretakers woke up one morning and there she was, sitting in the corner of the shelter near the fence next to the road.

Charlie as a puppy

There was absolutely no way she could have got into the Sanctuary by herself.  She was only around 4 weeks old at the time.

Charlie as a puppy

She really took to Ding the caretaker and started following her around – he even let her sleep in his bed. Here she is when she was a puppy.

She gets on well with other dogs and the shelter staff but she shies away from new people. If she were adopted, she would need patience and time for her to adjust and build trust.

Here she is playing groundhog day with Maisy!
