In February 2025, we picked up a young dog with a bad case of TVT - Transmissible Venereal Tumors - which we know from past experience is completely treatable with chemotherapy. We called her Candy.

Candy's Story
On 24 February 2025, we picked up a young dog with a bad case of TVT. Her rear end was almost completely obscured by tumor tissue. Whilst this looks terrible, and fatal if left too long, TVT generally responds really well to chemotherapy, but it is not cheap. Without the financial support of many donors, we simply would not be able to help little Candy.
She is now getting the care she deserves, and we hope for a full recovery.
