In March 2024, we bought in a desperately malnourished dog who was first reported to us in November 2023. They disappeared for months, but turned up once again in an even worse state. We bought her in and called her Buffy.

Buffy's Story
On 17 March 2024, we rescued Buffy, who was reported back in November 2023 with mange but she was not too thin so we asked the reporter to give her Bravecto and monitor her. However the dog disappeared and turned up a couple of days ago in a terrible state.
We just had to bring her in. She wouldn't have lasted much longer out on the streets.

She was painfully thin, hairless and had a severe infection. We started treating her immediately, and slowly things began to improve.
Buffy when rescued
Her hair returned, she put on some weight, but understandably she still likes to keep to herself, and is usually found hiding out around the back of the kitchen, venturing out for the occasional bit of exercise. She is very friendly with our staff, and has a very lovely temperament - perfect for a quiet family.
