Bella's Story
Bella was born in another Animal Welfare Shelter to another of our rescues, Phoenix, along with her brother Harry. They were bought to the Sanctuary in July 2019, when Bella and Harry were only 3 months old and very unsociable.
She spent all her time with her brother Harry until Harry got distemper and had to be isolated in quarantine for a few months.

After that – they never spent time together. Harry now stays with a pack of dogs in one of the bamboo kennels and Bella spends all her time in the office area with her mother Phoenix.
Bella is an amazing climber. She was able to climb trees to jump over the shelter fence. She never runs away – she just likes to wander.
We have now raised the fence so she can’t get out.
She is really friendly with people she knows but is shy with strangers.
For some reason, she gets picked on a lot by other dogs – especially Patty.
