Barry's Story
On 18 September 2024, we picked up an old dog wandering close to a busy dual carriageway. Barry was roaming the streets alone, forgotten by the world and clearly in pain.
We don’t know his past, but thanks to your support we can make sure he has a better future.
Within a few weeks, Barry put on a little weight and his leg healed nicely. We treated his skin condition, so it’s only a matter of time before his hair will grow back. He’s underwent treatment for Erlichia.

Although Barry is still quite timid, our staff are working their magic on him. We have no doubt that with time and lots of love, he will eventually come out of his shell.
Thank you to everyone who donated for Barry. Because of you, he will be safe, comfortable, and well-fed for the rest of his life!
