Summer
Rescued on 9 May 2022, Summer was one of three very young puppies abandoned together. All three had Parvovirus, and only Summer survived. She is a strong little soul and deserves a loving family after such a difficult start in life.
Summer's Story
Abandoned together with Sugar and Scout in early May 2022, Summer was the only survivor of the Parvovirus they all carried into the Sanctuary. All three were very young, and it's anyone's guess as to why Summer was spared; they all received our full attention and support, but Parvo is such a danger to young dogs, this survival rate is not unusual, even with the best care.

Summer is gaining strength and growing into a very lovely young dog, and has had her vaccinations. We hope that that Parvo was the last big hurdle she has to clear in life, and that a caring family steps forward to give her a permanent home. She is full of fun and energy, and would make a loving family complete!
