Paco's Story
On 1 August 2023, we arrived for work at the Sanctuary to find a common scene - puppies abandoned on the side of the road. We are working so hard to help reduce the stray population through free or low cost sterilisation programmes, but are prepared for this sad scene to play out many times more before our work will begin to show some benefit.

A few weeks ago, sister Polly and brother Pogo were adopted by two different families, and are starting out on their path to their best life. We hope poor Paco isn't far behind, as he is a lovely quiet dog with kind eyes and a gentle temperament.

We believe that among the many benefits of adopting from the Sanctuary is that the puppies here have known to expect nothing from humans than love, care and attention. As a result, they are already friendly, playful and happy to go with you to their new homes. All you need to do is carry on the good work started by us at the Sanctuary!
