Marble
Marble was bought in to the Sanctuary in January 2023 as part of our Trap Neuter Vaccinate and Return programme. If a stray dog looks as if it is being fed, we return it to the streets, but in Marble's case, she was just so old, we felt it kinder to keep her at the Sanctuary in the hope someone will step forward and offer her a final home for her remaining time.

Marble's Story
On 20 January 2023, we collected an older stray as part of our Trap Neuter Release programme. We do blood tests on every stray we pick up, treat conditions, deworm, vaccinate and give Bravecto.

We only put back if the dog clearly has a source of food. On assessment by the vet we discovered she had been shot with a marble gun and the marbles were embedded in her skin. We referred to her as Marble initially and the name stuck!
