Picked up in a terrible state on 25 November 2021, her rescuer Mohammed called her Hope.
She had a bad case of Mange, and was clearly starving, and we hope that she was rescued just in time to save her.
Hope's Story
We rescued this little girl on 25 November 2025. She was very thin with a bad case of mange and wouldn't have survived much longer on the street.
Our rescue team was not available at the time so we asked some volunteers to help. One was our board member @wjardeleza and her friends.

They spent hours trying to find the dog and finally found her at midnight.
The person who reported her, Mohammed, came to the Sanctuary to see her and named her Hope. He will also sponsor her.
Hope
In just a week, she made progress, putting a little weight on and gaining some hair. We hope she continues to improve, and that an adopter is found to give her a comfortable home off the streets.
