Brody

On 6 May 2022, we found Brody wandering the streets, displaying signs of treatment indicating he had an owner. So far no owner has claimed him, which is shame as he is a lovely dog. He's healed, neutered and vaccinated, and if his original owner can't be located, maybe some new family can give him a second chance.

Brody's Story

Brody clearly had an owner as someone had sprayed Combinex (purple spray) on the maggot infested wound on his bum. It's likely his owner couldn't afford any further vet treatment, and so turned him loose. Whoever owned him clearly loved him as he was well fed and very sociable. He has clearly been treated well.

Brody when rescued

We decided to take him in and treat him and then put him back where we found him so he could find his way back home, but he wanted to follow us. We couldn't just leave him.

He is now healed, vaccinated and neutered, and we are searching for his original owner. We will not charge the owner for his treatment - we just want to see him reunited with his family.

In the meantime, he's friendly though a little shy, good with other dogs, and we think he's around 2 or 3 years old. Could it be second time lucky for young Brody?
