On Monday 19th April, we rescued a puppy who had a rusty chain deeply embedded in her neck - it had clearly been there for so long that the skin had grown over most of it. It took over an hour to remove it.
Lucy is now in quarantine and will stay there for a couple of weeks until the wound has completely healed.
