Welcome to our Blog column!

Here we will be sharing the latest news about the shelter and our rescues on a regular basis and also writing about topics that will be helpful and educational for anyone who has a love of animals or is concerened about animal welfare. 

We hope to be writing weekly or more often if we can so book mark our page and check in regularly! 

Our big news today is that we have just received our charity status!  

We are now officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Dumaguete Animal Sanctuary INC. 

This opens us up to receive more donations and to publicly fund raise, which in turn will help us to help more and more animals.

Thanks so much Marmel - our board secretary for going through the process - not an easy one!
