Google Maps Location

All built on rented land, we have:

  • The Main House where the caretakers live full time, with a small clinic for operations and confinement of sick animals
  • The Office where staff control the operations of the Sanctuary, and some of our veterinary equipment is housed
  • A New Clinic where veterinary staff may assess animals and carry out minor procedures, and occasional visiting volunteer vets carry out more demanding surgeries and treatments.
  • A Quarantine Block for new rescues and recovering patients.
  • A Puppy Run to keep the youngest, most vulnerable dogs separate while they grow.
  • A Cattery to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the growing number of cats and kittens we are having to rescue.
  • Six Covered Shelters for the adult dogs to sleep in.
  • A Rehabilitation and Physical Exercise pool for animals recovering from injuries affecting their mobility.

While we do not currently have our vet on site, we are very lucky receive regular visits from volunteer veterinary surgeons and assistants who donate their time and expertise.  Our veterinary assistants can perform a growing number of diagnostic tests with machines and supplies provided by our generous supporters, but for more complicated emergency surgeries and diagnostics, we still rely on local veterinary practices, which gets very expensive at times.
