Rescued on 16 August 2021, Sassy was on the verge of death from malnutrition and mange.
She is slowly being nursed back to health, and we hope she can make a full recovery.

She was in such a poor state, she wasn't interested in food, and barely responded to any care and affection.

We found she loved chicken, and through generous donations, started to feed her up. Unfortunately, she had to have the cone of shame to stop her chewing away at her IV site, as this became infected and dead tissue had to be removed through surgery.

We hope this is the last of her major medical interventions, and she concentrates on gaining health and weight - she has put on 1 kg per week, and maybe needs to slow down now!
