STAN

Stan

Stan was rescued in November 2020 following a local pedicab deliberately running over him.

His injuries were largely superficial, and after surgery, he gradually improved.

He is a shy dog, but likes his walks and loves anyone who takes him on one!

Stan's Story

Stan was rescued in November 2020 after a pedicab (tricycle taxi) driver intentionally swerved to hit him – witnesses at the scene said the people in the trike and the trike driver were laughing. He was lucky to survive.

Unfortunately the driver could not be identified.

We were worried that he had internal injuries but luckily he only had a few bruises and a bruised leg. Like many of our rescues he was not friendly initially. It took him about 6 weeks before he would let us touch him.

Stan

Stan

He has become much more gregarious, although there's something about him that a few other dogs react to so he sometimes gets into fights, not of his choosing!

Stan

Stan

Apart from his initial injuries, he is healthy and has not had any other health issues since he arrived.

Stan has had a pretty good month in terms of his health, though like a lot of the dogs here, he has developed a fungal condition on his skin, which makes it a little patchy. We have to bath him using Mycocide shampoo twice a week for around a month to get rid of it.He Click to see post….
