HEBE

Hebe

In August 2023, Hebe was brought to the Sanctuary by a lady who claimed she was a stray hit over the head by someone.  She couldn't walk, and was very unsteady, but after a few days rest and care at the Sanctuary, she's back to normal and is a lovely, healthy young dog.

Hebe's Story

On 9 August 2023, Hebe was left at the Sanctuary by a lady who reported she had been hit on the head deliberately.  She wouldn't stay to give any further details, and Hebe was indeed in a bad way. Unable to focus and very unsteady on her feet, wobbling around and falling.

We observed her carefully, and as the days passed, she became clearer and more stable on her feet.  She's now 100% back to fitness and is desperate to find a new home.

Fun fact: Due to a mis-communication at the Sanctuary, Hebe was actually Herbie for the first few days of her stay here!
