Millie
Rescued in a very poor condition, Millie was one of three dogs rescued in June 2022. Along with the older dog Mabel, Millie may well have been used to breed, as they all appear to be a popular small dog breed known as a Maltese. They are all now released from their uncertain futures and have the opportunity to fulfil their lives with a loving family.

Rescued on 4 June 2022, Millie was one of three seemingly "pedigree" dogs rescued from squalid caged conditions. Together with Merlin and Mabel, Millie had very bad mange and was suffering from malnutrition. It's likely she is the mother or Merlin, as she is very maternal towards him. It's very unlikely Merlin was her first litter, as dogs like these are kept for breeding.

These poor souls were really protective of each other, and when they arrived they had such a haunted look in their eyes. We gradually gained their trust, and Millie is a shy but friendly little soul.

We have every confidence that Millie will recover her coat and general heath, and will no longer be a slave to a puppy farm. She deserves another shot at a comfortable and carefree life with a new family.
