SCARLETT

Scarlett

Scarlett before rescue

Scarlett was a stray identified by our Community Stray Wardens - volunteers looking to trap, neuter, vaccinate and release otherwise healthy strays. On 13 December 2021 she was bought to the Sanctuary as she looked pregnant.  She wasn't but she had such a sweet nature we couldn't imagine putting her back on the streets.  She has a sponsor for her treatments and so we shall try to find her a new home!

Scarlett's Story

We are trying to slowly trap, neuter, vaccinate and release strays in the community. We have three official stray wardens Ady Solera , Bree Araula and Stephanie Serene Badon. These three stray wardens feed a number of strays in their local area and we are working towards vaccinating them all where funds allow.

We will also treat medical conditions. Our criteria for putting them back is that they are not underfed and have a pack to roam with or at least a best doggie friend.

Scarlett after rescue

Stephanie brought Scarlett in because she suspected she was pregnant. An ultrasound showed she wasn't so we spayed her and intended to put her back as she had the shelter of an abandoned house and Stephanie to feed her daily.

But she's all alone!!! And she is the sweetest little girl, so hungry for love.  We appealed for an adopter, or at least someone to sponsor her so she could stay at the Sanctuary while we look for a new home.  A sponsor was found, so let's hope Scarlett won't be lonely for long.

Clementine is starting to improve. We believe her condition was due to calcium deficiency and now she's having regular IV infusions of calcium and magnesium.
